We were called in by one of our valued customers to assist in the unloading and positioning of a Royal Navy Lynx helicopter which was being used for advertising for an upcoming military show at the Excel centre in The Royal Docks, London.

Fairview Crane Hire had to select the right machine for the job, as the Lynx was being placed onto the pedestrian area of the excel centre which has a maximum vehicle loading of 20t on this area, with the weight limit in place, the most suitable option was to use our 8 x wheel 47t/m lorry loader to carry out the delicate lifting operation.
